OUR
MISSION

ABOUT US.

Whether you're working with patients in remote areas or retrieving patients from them - if you're seeking to further your knowledge, you've come to the right place.

We strongly believe three key facets contribute to providing the highest quality care in austere environments. First and foremost, that prevention is the best medicine. Forward planning and robust risk mitigation measures are the strongest line of patient defence. Second, that the provision of quality care is underpinned by a commitment to performing the basics well, each and every time. And finally, that when all else fails, providing high level critical care need not require all the bells and whistles an intensive care unit would avail you of - many safe, practical, and evidence-based interventions are within reach for the trained professional that can have a direct effect on morbidity and mortality.

Whether you're deployed on combat operations, volunteering with a non-governmental organisation, employed as an offshore medic, supporting commercially guided ventures, or enjoying expeditions of your own - hopefully you'll find something for you here.

PARTNERS.

We are proud to work with a number of partner organisations. Watch this space.
